An announced rebrand, not a new hotel in 2026
The Savudrija property has its own existing hospitality history. Minor Hotels has announced an Anantara transition planned for 2027. Until the new identity is fully implemented, distinguish the current resort from the future Anantara brand.
This is a repositioning story, not a brand-new structure. On Savudrija’s coast, an established golf-and-spa resort is being prepared for an Anantara identity, illustrating the move toward high-end, year-round Istrian hospitality. Editorially, the distinction between the current resort and the planned future brand matters.
